Make your next addition to your rose garden a unique one, with deep crimson purple flowers that are almost black. ‘Matthew’s Rose' produces Hybrid Tea flowers, classic in shape and form, but eccentric in colour, you'll struggle to match the shade of these roses!
Deep chocolate maroon buds open into big, elegant flowers, which are delicately perfumed. In fact, the flowers subtly brighten as they unfurl, sitting on the end of long stems, which are easy to snip for fresh cut flower displays.
Patio pots or busy mixed borders, ‘Matthew’s Rose' is sure to standout with summer to autumn flowers regardless of where it is grown.
Easy to care for and best in full sun. Like most roses prune in late winter by cutting back hard to the bud, as the fresh flowers are borne on the new growth that follows.
Supplied freshly in a 3L pot, ready to be planted out. Please note at certain times of the year this variety may be supplied in a 4L pot.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months.
