A rose that can be appreciated at any time of the day, ‘This Morning’ is a simply stunning example of a shrub rose. Bursting to life from the start of summer with a profusion of pretty and characterful blooms, no guest to your garden will be able to pass by without giving it a second glance.
Several delightful pink petals darken to a deeper maroon towards the centre, and act as a bed for amber stamens to dance on top of. This variety will repeatedly flower throughout the warm season, even up to the first frosts of the year.
The ‘This Morning’ rose was released to mark the 30th birthday of ITV’s flagship daytime programme, This Morning.
Although looking right at home when planted in beds and borders, this variety will also perform well in pots, as it fills the space completely and even daintily trails over the sides.
Roses, such as ‘This Morning’, play an important role in ecosystems producing food for pollinators such as bees and hoverflies. Our roses have been grown to be rich in pollen, with flower shapes that allow the insects to reach it easily, and their long flowering season makes them extra valuable. Rose plants also host a range of insects that in turn provide food for birds.
For every rose sold, we are proud to donate £2.50 to the RSPB (Registered Charity in England and Wales no. 207076, Scotland no. SC037654) As the UK’s largest nature conservation charity, the RSPB strives to save species, protect habitats, and help to end the ongoing climate and nature emergency.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.
Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
