Description
Ceanothus thyrsiflorus, commonly known as 'Creeping Blue Blossom', is an incredibly beautiful Californian Lilac, perfect for filling the garden with blue blooms in late spring and glossy evergreen leaves that remain coated in colour regardless of the season.
In May and June, it produces pale blue blooms in clouds of colour. Very attractive to beneficial pollinators and thankfully easy to grow, despite its decorative standard form, with a shaped head of foliage above a straight, clear stem.
This beauty makes an exceptional gift plant and is supplied wrapped in a decorative brown hessian bag with a green fabric bow. This established plant, in a 19cm pot, will already be approximately 80-90cm tall on arrival, and ready to plant or gift.
Flowering April - June, growing to an approximate eventual size of 150cm tall by 100cm wide.
