Description
Sample plump and juicy figs, plucked fresh from the tree with the exceptional 'Brown Turkey' tree. Masses of big, pear-shaped fruits emerge with deep red flesh, ready for picking towards the end of summer, whether grown in big pots or straight in the ground.
This variety is attractive even before the fruit is ripe, making an impression on the garden with branches clothed in large, deeply lobed leaves.
Tough and hardy, thriving in winter conditions as low as -10C, even tolerating drought once established. This fig has been grown into a standard form with a head of foliage above a clear stem, while it is supplied already gift wrapped in a brown hessian bag with a green fabric bow.
Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot, approximately 70-100cm tall, in a standard form. Ready to plant or gift.
Flowers around March – April and fruits August - September, growing to an approximate eventual size of 200cm tall by 200cm wide.
